We’re reclaiming a space for news media to play a leadership role in modern society. We pull together news organisations to collaborate, rebuild lost energy and to thrive. Not just for today, but for all the battles that lie ahead.
In everything we do, we promote quality journalism and media literacy.
We’re realists, with big dreams
Our mission is to:
● expose authoritarianism and the big tech alliance as a threat to civilisation
● redefine the role of news media in modern democratic societies
● encourage a rethink of news media business models
● create a safe social news media space
● champion truth, media literacy, critical thinking, climate change action and other causes.
It’s time to shed negativity, arrogance and cynicism. These erode trust in the fourth estate and crack the foundations of our civilisation.

Choose Truth and Syndication Kontinuum
We’ve already started a decades-long, global media literacy / awareness campaign called Choose Truth [link to page]. This campaign helps us build our network and our distribution channels – one of which we’re calling Syndication Kontinuum. We’ll use these channels to share insights, ideas and calls-to-action from some of our incredible thought leaders [link to advisors page].
The News Social and Eve of Destruction
Further down the line, we’ll launch The News Social: a new, safe social media space [link to News Social page] for trusted newsmakers worldwide, readers who value facts, and quality advertising brands. No AI moderation or algorithms, no trolls, just robust, lasting, human engagement.
With these pillars in place, we’ll stretch further into the world of policy and news media business models. We’ll campaign to raise true, worldwide awareness about the climate crisis [link to page] and drive relentless action.
Supporting the foundation of our civilisation
Broken business models, technology and politics have fractured the world’s news media family, turning friends into enemies. Our goal is to be the glue that binds newsrooms and news publishers in a shared mission: to guard the values of truth, democracy and accountability - to support the foundations of our civilisation.
Years of upheaval have taken their toll. Crushing media market failure has led to the demise of established business models. Some have found a way to stay afloat. Others haven’t. And there’s more trouble on the horizon, including:
● resurgent global authoritarianism
● alliance between Big Tech and autocrats
● AI as both a business tool and weapon of war
● climate crisis that’s now upon us.
Journalism is becoming more dangerous, and deadly, while news outlets increasingly rely on charity to survive. Instead of sustainable growth, too many media leaders are pulling up the last drops of profit from a dry well. The entire information ecosystem is under severe pressure.
Project Kontinuum fosters a more informed and engaged global citizenry. We combat the erosion of trust in news and objective facts.
